Rabbi Chaim Bruk was born in Brooklyn, New York  and raised in the Hasidic community of Crown Heights. As a student of Rabbi Menachem Schneerson of blessed memory, Chaim was educated to appreciate the value of each human being and on the importance of reaching out with love and inspiration to all people. He studied at the prestigious Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, New Jersey, and received his rabbinical ordination is Israel.

 

In 2006 he married his partner Chavie, a Texas girl from San Antonio and in 2007, together, they embarked on their life's mission to bring traditional Judaism to Big Sky Country.  As co-directors they've opened Montana's first Orthodox Synagogue in over 100 years, built Montana's only Mikvah, Jewish ritual bath, they  publish Montana's Jewish Voice, Montana's Jewish Art Calendar and www.JewishMontana.com which reaches thousands monthly, and on a personal note, they have adopted five beautiful children. Rabbi Chaim is known for his humor, passion pragmatism and love for Sushi.
